I am Zheng Qin, a Year 3 Math major, specializing in Statistics at Nanyang Technological University. With a tenacious passion for data, I am looking to be in the data analytics field. 
 

Experience

I was a Strategic and Business Analytics intern at American Express from May to July 2022. During my internship, I analyzed and proposed potential industries for the sales team to target to increase Amex's card sales. I conducted research on the consumer trend as well as the current competitive landscape of credit cards in Singapore. I also had the opportunity to talk to every employee in the sales team to better understand their clients' portfolios and the challenges and difficulties faced when communicating with their clients. With these insights I had gotten, I came up with a presentation on the industries Amex should focus on as well as how we can target these customers.
