- Lead accurate demand forecast with sales and marketing by successfully monitoring and communicating forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply situations, business risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
- Reviewing cost at effective level and ensuring price is competitive with market.
- Sourcing for key suppliers and maintaining effective relationships with these key suppliers.
- Maintain knowledge of import and export regulations, compliance with the regulations.
- Identify and analyse sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with finance team to ensure procurement management are aligned with corporate standards.
- Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or any other relevant fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, preference for food sourcing and purchasing.
- Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with strong motivation to deliver cost savings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, customer service and communication skills.
- Speaks and presents well.
