    Roles & Responsibilities

    PROCUREMENT & PLANNING EXECUTIVE
    An exciting Procurement & Planning Executive role has been made available with an established food trading company in Singapore. This is a newly created role as part of business expansion here in Singapore and you will be reporting to the Department Manager.

    About the Procurement & Planning Executive Role:
    In this role, you will be presented with an opportunity to learn and grow alongside the business such as building good relationships with the external and local suppliers and sourcing products to meet the needs of the business.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead accurate demand forecast with sales and marketing by successfully monitoring and communicating forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply situations, business risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
    • Reviewing cost at effective level and ensuring price is competitive with market.
    • Sourcing for key suppliers and maintaining effective relationships with these key suppliers.
    • Maintain knowledge of import and export regulations, compliance with the regulations.
    • Identify and analyse sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting and inventory planning.
    • Collaborate with finance team to ensure procurement management are aligned with corporate standards.

    To succeed in this role, you will need to have working knowledge within procurement and sourcing.

    Key requirements:

    • Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or any other relevant fields.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, preference for food sourcing and purchasing.
    • Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with strong motivation to deliver cost savings.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, customer service and communication skills.
    • Speaks and presents well.
