    Roles & Responsibilities

    Bespoke to the individual, prestigious Parisian Haute-Couture perfume house, Maison 21G, launches its iconic brand in Singapore through beautiful boutiques and online, allowing tailor-made creations for all and astounding quality at its core. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to join our fast-growing D2C (direct-to-consumer) company.

    The incumbant will play a key role in driving our company's financial performance by providing critical financial insights and supporting decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and developing financial models to support business initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the financial planning and analysis process including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning including close monitoring of inventories and purchase plan
    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
    • Develop financial models to evaluate new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities
    • Cash forecast and reconciliation
    • Conduct variance analysis of actual versus budgeted/forecasted results and identify key drivers of variances
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies
    • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and board of directors
    • Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
    • Provide financial support for mergers and acquisitions and other strategic initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce company
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
    • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
    • Proficient in Excel and financial analysis software
    • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
    • Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus
    • CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred
    • Able to handle a Start-Up working environment
