Description

As a Marine NavCom Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services related to marine navigation and communication systems. Your duties will include:

Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of marine navigation and communication equipment.
Performing regular maintenance and repair work on navigation and communication systems.
Conducting inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Providing technical support and guidance to customers regarding system operation and functionality.
Preparing and submitting detailed service reports and documentation.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in marine navigation and communication technology.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Prior experience in servicing marine navigation and communication systems is required.
Strong knowledge of various marine navigation systems, such as GPS, radar, AIS, and ECDIS.
Familiarity with marine communication systems, including VHF radios, satellite communication, and GMDSS.
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing system faults.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
