    Roles & Responsibilities

    Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) is the trade and invest promotion agency, for the northern region of Belgium: Flanders.

    As the economic powerhouse in Belgium, we rank 13th globally for both exports and imports. Our Singapore office, within the Embassy of Belgium is responsible to support trade relations between Flanders and Singapore. It also serves as the regional hub for the APAC region.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated deputy to the VP APAC (M/F/X) who will be part of our small and international team.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Support the Vice President for the APAC region in the areas of administration, strategy and marketing, including but not limited to:

    Administration

    • Providing administrative support, such as screening of calls, scheduling of meetings and appointments, management of email correspondences, drafting of replies, attending to guests and visitors, preparation for meetings and presentation materials on behalf of the Vice-President, etc.
    • Bookkeeping and accounting tasks

    Strategy

    • Collecting information on regional economic and geopolitical trends
    • Conducting research to understand the effectiveness of existing services
    • Coordination with HQ and other stakeholders in the region
    • Prepare and review regional reports

    Marketing

    • Work with media organisations and/or creative agencies, and oversee all marketing campaigns for FIT in the region
    • Promoting FIT and its services through appropriate channels
    • Update management on the progress of marketing activities

    Profile Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Engineering or any similar fields
    • At least 5 years of work experience
    • Good administrative skills; excellent communication skills; strong project management, time management, and organisational skills
    • Experience with budget management preferably
    • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
    • Possess analytical skills and ability to identify trends and challenges
    • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing channels
    • Familiarity with the latest software tools and methodologies in graphic design, web design, etc.
    • Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Dynamics 365
    • High level of proficiency in English required
