Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP Software Development Manager to lead our technical team in the design, development, and maintenance of SAP software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP development, including ABAP programming, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA, and other relevant SAP technologies. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of SAP architecture and development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of SAP developers, providing technical guidance and support in the design, development, and implementation of SAP software solutions.
Define technical standards, best practices, and methodologies to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in SAP development efforts.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our SAP landscape and development strategies.
Solution Design and Architecture:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
Design scalable and extensible SAP architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security requirements, and industry standards.
Work closely with SAP functional consultants and solution architects to design integrated solutions that meet business needs.
Development Project Management:Plan, coordinate, and oversee SAP development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and establish project governance structures and processes to facilitate effective project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:Conduct regular code reviews and quality assurance assessments to ensure the reliability, performance, and maintainability of SAP software solutions.
Define and implement testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to validate the functionality of SAP applications.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and optimize SAP performance.
Change Management and Continuous Improvement:Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption and integration of new SAP technologies and functionalities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP development team, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and optimize resource utilization.
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing, skills development, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in SAP software development, with expertise in ABAP programming, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA, and other relevant SAP technologies.
Proven track record of successfully leading SAP development projects, including customization, enhancement, and integration efforts.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, data modeling, and integration principles, with the ability to design and architect complex SAP solutions.
Experience managing and leading development teams, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
SAP certification in relevant areas (e.g., ABAP development, SAP Fiori) is a plus.
