- Assist the project team in implementing events/projects on-site, including venue setup, logistics, and coordination with suppliers/vendors.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the event preparation, planning, and execution stages, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Manage client expectations by understanding their requirements and providing cost-effective solutions.
- Service existing clients by maintaining strong relationships, understanding their evolving needs, and implementing effective cost control measures.
- Attend events to stay updated on current trends and industry best practices, providing valuable insights to enhance future projects.
- Coordinate payment and invoicing processes with clients and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Brief designers and suppliers on project specifications and requirements, negotiating costs to achieve optimal results.
- Arrange storage for event items as needed and coordinate delivery logistics with clients and suppliers.
- Conduct on-site operations inspections to ensure suppliers deliver according to requirements and specifications, addressing any issues promptly.
- Develop comprehensive costing reports for project approval, managing overall project costs to ensure healthy gross profit margins.
- Prepare and submit project reports upon completion of events, documenting key learnings and recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with venue owners regarding any damages or issues, facilitating resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
- Diploma holder in Hospitality/Tourism Management or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in account servicing, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
