    We are looking for a Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives across Singapore and Australia, and help achieve our business objectives to expand in the South-East Asia region. You will be a hands-on sales leader with a passion for growing and evolving a diverse business in a dynamic market, creating a positive sales culture, and managing a high performing team. This role will require the implementation of strategies that will allow the company to grow and scale quickly, while guiding their respective team on the ground to manage a current base of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling and leading SaaS teams, with deep insights into the unique market dynamics of Southeast Asia and Oceania regions. Please note, this role will require occasional travel within Asia, Australia and Europe.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Direct the day-to-day activity of sales teams closing business within Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts across a South East Asia and Oceania regions.
    • Combine coaching, mentoring and training to foster a strong focus on pipeline management, individual forecasting and performance management to ensure members of the team are meeting assigned quota targets.
    • Develop annual strategic sales plans to drive revenue and increase market share from new and existing clients.
    • Build, develop, train and manage a highly effective sales team capable of carrying out the Company strategies and initiatives.
    • Drive and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on internal process, market research and competitor analyses.
    • Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
    • Maintain communication with senior management through weekly revenue reporting to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the health of the pipeline, status of deals, and opportunities for executive championing.
    • Set quality objectives, performance standards and priorities that are implemented and monitored across the team.
    • Manage and deliver detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
    • Monitor market and competitor activity and share insights with senior leadership and sales teams.
    • Ensure that the Sales team performs in accordance with a highly solution orientated sales process to win new customers and enlarge the revenue within existing accounts
    • Provide market perspectives (region, verticals) and ideas to help Monotype grow and retain market share and revenue in region (includes messaging, services, technology, partnerships, etc.).
    • Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and product strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
    • Help negotiate and close deals with high-level decision-makers.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

    What we're looking for:

    • at least 10 years' experience in enterprise sales, preferably within the Saas or technology sector.
    • 5 or more years' experience managing a sales team working with specific sales funnel management and structuring sales quota and revenue expectations.
    • Demonstrated experience selling into Southeast Asia and Australia, with a strong understanding of the regional market dynamics.
    • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and oral.
    • Excellent planning, analysis, organization, communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of the Digital, Ecommerce and Social Media in the Asian and Global markets is desirable
    • Demonstrable ability to support and assist a team in closing annual or multi-year agreements.
    • Experience in leading digital product sales and online marketing programs.
    • Demonstrable experience of converting cold leads in to successful new business with excellent contract negotiation skills.
    • Proven results as a strong mentor, who can get the most out of a bright, collaborative team in a high growth entrepreneurial environment.
