Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring the performance, reliability, availability, latency and security of our Cloud-based solution and infrastructure
Optimises system performance with automation to improve Cloud System quality and reliability
Conducts regular system maintenance and is responsible for incident response.
Develop reports on performance, reliability, availability, and latency of systems by review of service uptime, utilisation
Evaluate feasibility of integrating new functions into the system without compromising system performance and health
Support initiatives to improve the system and service delivery through automation and virtualization
Develop tools and scripts to automate deployments and optimize performance
Utilise monitoring systems and diagnose the root cause of incidents
Conduct system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains, expect to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot issues
Document system outages to provide critical insights on system health
Manage incident response process and system recovery

Job Requirements

Tertiary education in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline
3 years in Cloud Computing, Cloud Network Security, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and Process Improvement and Optimization
Experience with one or more of the following products and platforms

o Cloud Deployment and Management (Azure, AWS, Alicloud)

oInfrastructure Provisioning and Deployment (Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure resource manager)

oNetworking (VPNs, subnet, routing, load balancing and security groups)

oSecurity (Alicloud RAM, NACLs, security groups, Secrets, AD)

oAutomation and Orchestration (Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Ansible, Chef)

oContainer (Docker, Kubernetes)

oDevOps Practises (CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS codepipeline

oDatabases (Alicloud RDS, Azure SQL)
