Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking or Wealth Management. This role involves working on technology projects that drive innovation and operational efficiency within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking or wealth management processes, along with the technical expertise to bridge the gap between business and technology.

Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and document functional specifications for technology projects.
Analyze business data and identify trends, patterns, and insights to support technology project objectives.
Create detailed process maps to understand current state workflows and design improved processes.
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project managers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure successful integration of new systems and applications with existing banking/wealth management platforms. Experience working on trading systems a plus.
Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure compliance with business requirements.
Support change management efforts, including training and user adoption, to ensure smooth transitions during technology project implementations.
Identify potential risks associated with technology projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on banking or wealth management.
Strong understanding of banking and wealth management processes, products, and regulations.
Experience with technology projects, including software development and system integration.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as use cases, process mapping, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management is a plus.
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), are desirable but not required.
