Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

Main Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Production Accounting, Vendor payments and matching, Monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging.
Petty Cash/Float reconciliations for Project Accounting.
Filing of records, updating system with all invoices and back-ups.
Provide accounting & clerical support to the department.
Other duties will include bank reconciliations, cash flow management and various financial administration duties.
Email correspondence with the external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company's Accounting Policies and Procedures.
All other ad-hoc duties relating to accounting.

Requirements:

Diploma or Graduation in Finance or Accounting.
2-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
The successful candidate should be proficient with computers and other standard office technology and is meticulous in carrying out work orders.
A good working knowledge of Excel is essential.
Knowledge of Accounting Software such as MYOB will be advantageous and willingness to learn to new software is required.
Prior experience working in a Production Company will be an added advantage.
The Ideal candidate should be a team player with a can-do attitude who is hard-working, meticulous, good communication, detail oriented, diligent, and highly organized.
