    Roles & Responsibilities

    Havas Singapore is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support the day-to-day management of Finance operations across business units.

    Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for financial and management accounts reporting and manage day-to-day finance operations.
    • Support Senior Finance Manager in overseeing the overall functions of the Finance Department.
    • Perform month-end closing activities including management reports, group reporting packages and audit schedules.
    • Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation and prepares monthly journals.
    • Supervise finance team in the month end closing process and reviewing journals, posting & reconciliations to ensure proper compliance with accounting standards.
    • Responsible for intercompany reconciliation and reporting.
    • Managing cash flow.
    • Provide cost variance analysis and preparing budgets.
    • Responsible for the maintenance of master files in financial system.
    • Responsible for staff training on finance processes.
    • Responsible for tax reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval matrix, accounting policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial agents where required.
    • Streamline processes for better efficiency, implement procedures and measures for financial and internal control purposes.
    • Support in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory role preferred, preferably in the service/ professional industry.
    • External audit experience required.
    • Bachelor of Accountancy Degree or equivalent.
    • Good knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards
    • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Well-organised with excellent time management skills
    • Good team player and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
    • Committed, highly self-motivated individual who can work independently.
    • Meticulous with an eye for details.
    • Analytical and possess good problem-solving skills.
