    Scope

    • Responsible for the management and preparation of consolidated financials, reports, forecasts and budgets of the Group.
    • Responsible for the planning, managing, and coordinating the external and internal audits of the Group.
    • Assist with the development and management of financial processes and procedures as directed by the Group Finance Controller.
    • Work closely with the rest of the Finance team members to ensure consistency and best practice is developed and maintained across the function, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance across Finance function.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely completion and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidated financial statements of the Group.
    • Perform special job-related management financial reports and presentations as needed.
    • Review monthly financial reports (including cash flows), assist in identifying abnormal entries, financial issues for improvements and solutions.
    • Drive and coordinate the external and internal audits of the Group and resolve any matters arising from audits.
    • Perform industry benchmarking analysis.
    • Manage and prepare annual budgets for the Group and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses on the same to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
    • Implement and enhance the internal control processes of the Group.
    • Manage all aspects of corporate financial business processes in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Review GST reports for quarterly filing to IRAS.
    • Responsible for general ledger functions of Holding company.
    • Assist in establishing department goals and action plans. Monitors and reports on progress in completing projects and accomplishing goals. Resolve complex issues and problems as needed.
    • Assist in managing the treasury and corporate functions of the Group.
    • Assist in tax planning of the Group and liaise with tax authorities and tax agents.
    • Assist Group Financial Controller in the overseeing of subsidiaries' finance team and ensure timely group reporting.
    • Assist in sustainability reporting and related matters.
    • Assist in the maintenance and updates of standard operating procedures.
    • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • Chartered Accountant (Singapore) or equivalent professional qualifications.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of accounting and auditing experience, including minimum 3 years of team management experience.
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and proficient with all other Microsoft Office Applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS, especially on business combinations and merger accounting.
    • Experienced with a range of financial analysis and modeling including discounted cash flow, cost/benefit, valuation and sensitivity analysis.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation skills.
    • Detail oriented, proficient in analysis and modeling, creative thinking, and strong analytical skills.
    • Strong project management skills and able to work collaboratively with team members as well as other business units.
    • The ability to establish priorities and organise work assignments.
    • A committed, responsible and independent professional, determined to continuously improve the services provided by the Finance function to the Group, as well as to ensure consistency and standardised finance related reporting and processes throughout the Group.
    • Willing to learn and have a positive attitude.
