- Conduct comprehensive research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers, to define service design requirements.
- Develop and visualize customer journey maps, service blueprints, and other relevant design artifacts to communicate design concepts and improvements effectively.
- Create and iterate on prototypes that showcase service interactions and touchpoints.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to align service design with organizational goals and objectives.
- Implement human-centered design principles to ensure services are intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Participate in user testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance service designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in service design.
- Bachelor's degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related field
- 3-8 years experience as a Service Designer or in a similar role
- Have strong understanding of service design philosophy and methodologies
- Be adept at conducting user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviours
- Have strong analytical skills – to be able to sensemake research findings and translate them into actionable insights to inform service design decisions
- Be proficient at developing prototypes, service blueprints, customer journey maps, and other visual artifacts to communicate service concepts and design solutions
- Be able to design and run usability testing to gather feedback to continuously improve service experiences/products/services
- Strong communicator to relate complex and abstract concepts and ideas to different audiences through stories in a tangible manner
- Prior experience in public sector would be a strong advantage
