- Perform railway operation duties such as safe pedestrian track access control, operating shunting vehicles or passenger/ engineering trains for movement, setting routes for train movement, etc., in the Test Centre.
- Manage central control at the OCC building to ensure the safety and security of the Test Centre operations are in compliance with the Safety Manual, Rule Book, etc.
- Coordinate with contractors for lifting activities for train delivery into or out of the Test Centre.
- Able to perform shift duty, work overtime and relief work.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
- Able to lead and take charge of a team of work groups or contractors for building services/ structure maintenance works, core system (Signaling/ Comms/ Control) maintenance works, etc., within the Test Centre.
- Able to support overseas assignments if necessary.
- Local Diploma Certification in E&M Engineering discipline working in the railway industry. (Local fresh graduates with a positive mindset will be considered.)
- Candidates with train testing and commissioning work experiences would be an advantage.
- Training will be provided to successful candidates to perform the railway operation duties.
- Will have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for report submission and presentation.
- Self-motivated and able to be cross-trained and keen to learn new skills.
- Able to lead and take charge of a team or workgroup.
- Possessing a relevant Class 3 or 4 local driving license would be an advantage.
