- To be responsible handling day-to-day incident and problem management for Retail Banking & Cards especially on Unix applications like 3DS, EST, BLP, STA etc.
- Capable of running small initiatives with peers and production managers
- Demonstrated continuous Improvement achievements.
- To analyse the current demand trend of production incidents and to provide recommendation for demand deduction and improve efficiency.
- Being a coordinator to different team including Problem Resolution and Incident Management.
- Responsible for day-to-day production incident support and inquiry from business users, operational users and customers via Contact Centre
- Able to handle incident and problem in 24-hour roster basis
- Capable to perform analysis on production incidents for demand deduction
- Good in handling problem and able to have resolution in timely manner
- Critical examination of requirements and understanding of operations and new application systems.
- Create and modify procedures to solve problems considering technical capacity and limitations.
- Coordinate Problem and Change to production systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
- Have strong coordination skills
- Good knowledge of programming skills in UNIX Shell Scripting & Java/SQL
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in application development in Open systems
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with CI/CD tools
- Minimum 1 years of working experience with DevOps or Scrum
- Minimum 1 years of working experience with log management tool like Splunk, ELK, BMC, Geneos etc
- Basic knowledge or concept of Cloud, Container, Micro services
- Hands on experience in Job Scheduling tool, Control-M and technically proficient.
- Experience in IT industry for any platform
- Having good knowledge in domain of Retail Banking & Cards
- Requires superior analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in system architecture and design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A strong & assertive communicator in English speaking & writing
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation Certificate
- Broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming
- Working experience in application development using Linux, Java, Weblogic, JBoss, MQ, Apache Web, Oracle in retail banking application and banking knowledge will be added advantage.

Responsibility
Provide 24x7 production support onsite offsite Investigate production issues, determine production defect severity and provide workaround to user if feasible to move business forward
Manage and respond to users on timely manner.
Log incident ticket for production issues and user queries
Provide necessary information needed for further investigation to next level support (L3) to proceed with fix
Prioritize defects and plan for production release based on defect criticality or align with quarterly release
Follow up on defect and incident closure and meet incident closure KPI
Share production defect support learning with QA team and development team to improve application quality and minimize future defects
Make sure system availability as per respective agreed SLA Support EOD batch run
Perform annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for supported applications
Provide support to System Engineers on server level patches upgrade as and when applicable
Ensure proper knowledge transfer (KT) from project development team before enhancement release
Ensure application documentation is properly updated for each production release
