    Job Purpose

    We are looking for a motivated IT Field Service Support individual to join our team in Stephenville Texas. In your role, you will be responsible for providing support regarding hardware and software requests to users across Stephenville and other supported locations across North America.

    Job Description

  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, peripherals (local and network printers, scanners), and other end user equipment, including mobility devices
  • Responding to telephone calls, email, service tickets, and dispatched requests for technical support
  • Acting as smart hands for Server, Storage, Backup Network equipment and IT end points
  • Using independent judgment to find solutions to multi-faceted and/or time sensitive, complex problems
  • Consulting and instructing users on hardware and software questions/issues
  • Collaborating with other IT Services Data Center and Network Infrastructure teams
  • Resolving technical problems including forming Root Cause Analysis
  • Troubleshooting basic application issues, and deeper diagnosis under direction from remote teams
  • Monitoring and reporting on local IT inventory including site audits
  • Providing assistance with office moves (moving and set-up of IT equipment)
  • Performing all other necessary tasks related to IT support of the local and regionally supported locations.
  • Business travel may be required to perform some support activities
  • You are meant for this job if:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in IT Field Service role or similar
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows 7/ Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience working in an operational environment with interaction with infrastructure, applications, service management, senior management and business unit teams
  • Experience working with an IT ticketing solution (Service Manager, SNOW preferred)
  • Experience with Remote Support technologies
  • Experience and knowledge of basic networking protocols and troubleshooting steps. Certifications preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in ITIL process handling Incident, change and problem managements
  • Independent self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team
  • Skilled in documenting written troubleshooting steps and instructions
  • Experience with computer imaging technologies
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work professionally with personnel of various company levels (including executive management) in person, in writing and by phone also in stressful situations
  • Proper PPE and Field Certifications to be coordinated and completed though the internal HSE team
  • Clean driving record for use of company vehicles
