Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Under supervision by General Manager (Structured Finance), take an active role in supporting business development efforts and project financing related tasks proactively and in conjunction with the broader team
Assist in the financial and commercial evaluation of deals and opportunities, including but not limited to project financing, valuations, investments, partnerships, M&A transactions, development of greenfield projects and others, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and the wider company internal team
Responsible for building, maintaining and running robust financial models based on international best practices, for the purposes of valuation, assessing financial and commercial viability, due diligence and financing
Deliver high quality analysis and data including through running scenarios and sensitivity analysis in order to support identification of key value drivers and financial risks
Prepare and review presentations, briefing papers, budgets, reports and materials for internal and external use to support deal activities and business development efforts
Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids under tight timelines, working closely with cross-functional teams and partners
Participate and assist in managing due diligence workstreams and ensure that due diligence findings are appropriately reflected in financial models
Work closely with external consultants, advisors and partners, as required, including financial, legal and other advisors
Assist in execution and closings of transactions, including development of initial term sheets, transaction structuring, negotiations of final documentation, securing internal approvals and closings with lenders, investors and joint-venture partners

Requirements:

At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in energy, infrastructure, investment banking, renewables, or M&A activities
Strong financial modelling capability with good understanding of valuation and financial concepts, and proficiency at building complex financial models for the purpose of investment and financing decisions
Project financing and debt structuring experience, particularly in the power, infrastructure or energy sectors
Minimum Degree with CFA will be added advantages
Working experience in Big 4 preferred
