    Description

    Our company is looking for a Sponsorship Sales Executive to help drive sponsorship revenue for our premiere business conferences and sell-out live events. WBR has over 120 annual events in operation over 3 continents, and due to our continued portfolio growth we need to expand the sponsorship acquisition team to support new launches and repeat events.

    Our sponsors are some of the biggest and most distinguished brands in the world – from Amazon to Salesforce. They sponsor our B2B events — in eCommerce to procurement to finance — year over year because our business model is proven. Over our 20-year history, we have perfected the science of building deep relationships and exceeding sponsorship goals.

    The sponsorship packages that you'll sell include: keynote speech or presentation, panel participation, host a panel, booth exhibition, on-site branding, running an interactive workshop or round table discussion, and more. You will work closely with other departments such as Production, Marketing, and Event Planning to ensure we deliver successful events.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 to 4 years selling sponsorship packages for corporate events
  • Can sell a conceptual product (as opposed to a transactional product)
  • To articulately explain the effectiveness of exhibit sponsorship investment
  • Financially motivated and driven by uncapped commission
  • Someone who exceeds their phone sales KPIs QoQ
  • Highly intelligent and commercially aware
  • Comfortable selling in an open-floor environment
  • BA/MS degree is required
  • The Day-to-day:

  • Call big name sponsors and explain the short- and long-term value of sponsoring
  • Study the target audiences of assigned events and understand what 'they' value
  • Learn the critical pieces and features of our sponsorship packages
  • Customize sponsorship features that meet your clients' needs/end-goals
  • Upsell clients on re-bookings and cross-bookings for multiple events
  • Prepare sponsorship agreements/proposals
  • Hunt for new sponsors online in addition to the leads provided
  • Track sales progress in our CRM database
  • Travel to assigned events and manage clients onsite
  • Crush revenue goals and monthly KPIs
