    Job Description

    We're looking for a dedicated and organized person to join our team as a Plant Sale and Administrative Assistant. The main tasks will involve coordinating plant sales, assisting with administrative duties, managing deliveries, and delivering excellent customer service. The right candidate should have a love for plants, great communication skills, and be able to juggle multiple tasks effectively.

    Main Tasks:

    • Coordinate all aspects of plant sales, including inventory management and customer inquiries. Also, handle offsite and seasonal sales.
    • Help customers choose plants, provide care information, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
    • Keep the sales area clean and organized, restock shelves, and create attractive displays.
    • Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
    • Support with administrative duties like answering phones/emails, marketing tasks, and filing.
    • Participate in special projects and events, such as promotions and community activities.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in plant sales and administrative tasks.
    • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.

    Requirements:

    • Availability to work weekends with weekdays off, and flexibility for holidays and occasional overtime.
    • Minimum N-level education or equivalent; additional training in horticulture or business administration is a bonus.
    • Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or administrative roles is preferred.
    • Desirable knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and horticultural principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
    • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
    • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
    • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
    • Physically capable of lifting and moving plants and merchandise, and standing for extended periods.
    • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
