Duties
This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (OHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Management. With over 250 employees, OFM is the largest division within the OCFO, and is spread across three geographic locations- Headquarters in Washington, . and two finance centers in Dallas, TX and Burlington, VT, respectively. OFM supports all financial management service needs for the agency such as accounting transactional activities, financial reporting, operation and maintenance of financial systems and multiple feeder systems, and travel and government charge card management. Furthermore, OFM is an accounting shared service provider for five Components within DHS. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a junior level specialist to management on the administrative work of a fiscal, financial management, accounting or budgetary nature within the Office of Financial Management (OFM) Headquarters.
