Roles & Responsibilities· Expertise in installation, configuration, and administration of Messaging technologies with specialized emphasis on IBM technologies i.e.WebSphere MQ, AMS
· Expertise in server builds, deployment, configuration, maintenance & migration of MQ infrastructure.
· Well versed in implementation of SSL security, certificate management, Monitoring the MQ & AMS products.
· Thorough knowledge of installation of Hot Fixes and performing upgrades on the existing MQ infrastructure.
· Expertise in other messaging technologies like TIIBCO BW, EMS, RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ
· Expertise in Unix Shell & Perl script programming and automation tools.
· Analyze and resolution from routine issues to critical failures within established service level targets
· Disaster recovery planning and documentation. Conduct regular COB tests to check integrity and
functionality of disaster environments.
· Strong judgment and decision-making skills
· MQ certification will be an added advantage
Qualifications:
· 5 to 8 years of experience in WebSphere MQ administration
· Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
· Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
· Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Education:
· Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
