    The Business Development Manager at Changi Airport Group is responsible for driving innovation and developing new business ideas to generate sales from the domestic non-traveller market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the domestic market landscape. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities, create partnerships, and implement initiatives that enhance Changi Airport's Non-Traveller revenue streams.

    Position Overview:
    The Business Development Manager at Changi Airport Group is responsible for driving innovation and developing new business ideas to generate sales from the domestic non-travelling market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the domestic market landscape. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities, create partnerships, and implement initiatives that enhance Changi Airport's revenue streams.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities within the domestic non-traveller market, primarily across the channels of Airside, Landside and iShopChangi.

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to proactively identify new revenue streams.

    • Evaluate market potential, customer segments, and demand patterns to develop data-driven business strategies.

    2. Business Idea Generation and Innovation:

    • Generate innovative business ideas and concepts that align with Changi Airport's Non-Traveller vision and objectives.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine these ideas into actionable plans.

    • Conduct feasibility studies and financial analysis to assess the viability and potential profitability of new business initiatives.

    3. Partnership Development and Management:

    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including local businesses, government agencies, and industry associations.

    • Negotiate and manage partnerships to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that drive sales and enhance Changi Airport's market presence.

    • Foster strong relationships with partners, leveraging their expertise and resources to support business development efforts.

    4. Project Implementation and Performance Tracking:

    • Lead the implementation of approved business initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

    • Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful execution.

    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of implemented initiatives.

    5. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align business development efforts with overall organizational goals.

    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting business proposals, progress updates, and performance reports.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field with 6-8 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably in the retail, domestic travel, or ecommerce industry.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive innovation.

    • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.

    • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven and action- oriented with a proven ability to motivate others to achieve a successful outcome.

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
