Position Summary

A Global 3PL Logistics entity, seeking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead a team in the management of logistics and warehouse operations to achieve targeted performance and required service standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the logistics operations
Responsible for P&L of the operations
Supervises and develops staff
Provide inputs for department's future needs and operations by defining roles and responsibilities for the team
Drive Lean Warehousing System
Constantly look for improvement opportunities along the value chain, to streamline and re-engine the processes to achieve and exceed the service standard or target.
Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the warehouse.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer metrics (cost, quality, Customer Service and Supplier Performance)
Train and manage the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

Minimum 5 years of experience in shipper (managing 3PL) / 3PL environment
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or equivalent work experience in the logistics field
Prior experience in managing an operations size of 40-60 personnels will be an added advantage
Good working knowledge on warehouse management, inventory planning, local distribution and transport management.
Possess strong leadership skills
Good communications and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of customs and regulatory issues related to Logistics
Experience in WMS systems and possess good computer skills
