On behalf of one of its clients working in the F&B sector, the French Chamber of commerce is looking for a Channel manager.
Our client is looking for a results-driven Channel Manager to oversee and expand the company's distribution channels within the fine food industry in Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, a proven track record in sales, and experience in managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:Channel Development:
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and other relevant partners within the fine food sector to expand market reach and penetration.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, taking into account market trends, competitor analysis, and product positioning.
Account Management:
Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and providing support to maximize sales opportunities.
Market Analysis:
Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, understand consumer preferences, and make data-driven recommendations.
Collaboration:
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to partners on product knowledge, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to optimize strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.Proven experience (5 years) in channel management, preferably in the fine food industry or related sectors.
Strong network and relationships within the Singaporean fine food market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.
Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
